   About Me
   I grew up in Long Beach, California, and attended the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in
   2007. I then commissioned as an Officer in the US Navy, and subsequently spent 2 years on USS McInerney (FFG 8) performing anti-drug smuggling operations, a
   year training at the Navy's Nuclear Propulsion School, and two years operating the nuclear power plants on board USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). I started
   graduate school at Texas A&M in the Spring of 2014, with the goal of earning a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I also currently serve as an Officer
   in the US Navy Reserve.
